The son of fellow competitor and KB-Titan Racing principal Eric Latino, Matt is quickly carving out his own reputation—blending calm determination with a hunger to excel in one of the most competitive categories in drag racing.

Although Matt has a familial connection to the sport, he’s made it clear from the start that he wants to stand on his own merit. His day job as an executive at Global Emissions Systems, Inc. When it comes to track time, Matt isn’t just comfortable behind the wheel—he’s prepared. He fine-tuned his skills during multiple test passes at the PRO Superstar Shootout, stepping in for his father when Eric was briefly sidelined. There, Matt worked through his share of learning moments, confident that experiencing any setbacks in a non-competitive environment would give him a sharper edge when it really counts. The result has been a driver who isn’t rattled on race day, and who feels right at home on the Pro Stock stage.
