If your manifold is exposed to prolonged high temperatures, like in a track car that spends extended time at wide open throttle (WOT), or if it experiences large temperature swings, as in a drag car that heats up to max temps and then cools down multiple times a day, 321 Stainless is your best bet over 304 Stainless.
