The Porsche 991.2 Carrera Specific Z-Pipe by Formula Z Performance is a direct-fit, patent-pending crossover engineered for the 991.2's center-exit Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) configuration — routing, clearances, and connection points designed for this chassis rather than adapted to it. Engineered with precision, the Z-Pipe maintains a consistent, unrestricted exhaust pathway without reducing cross-sectional area, promoting smooth, high-velocity gas flow and increasing exhaust scavenging. This advanced design improves throttle response throughout the entire RPM range and boosts volumetric efficiency.
Each Z-Pipe is precisely crafted from high-quality 316L stainless steel using advanced Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) and Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technologies, ensuring unmatched accuracy and durability — internal geometry that cannot be fabricated from mandrel-bent tube. The Z-Pipe sits completely downstream of all emissions components. Experience a refined, clean, and exotic exhaust tone that is distinctly crisp and balanced across both exhaust banks.
FITMENT
- Fits: Porsche 991.2 generation 911 Carrera, including Cabriolet and 4/4S models — produced October 2015 through December 2019
- Requires: Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) and the PSE center-exit rear bumper
- Install position: downstream of all emissions components
- Before ordering: double-check your exhaust tip center-to-center distance against the dimensional drawing
Non-PSE cars: the side-exit exhaust layout uses our Opposing Style Z-Pipe instead.
