DELIVERING MORE POWER WITH ENHANCED ACOUSTICS — Z-PIPE BY FORMULA Z
The Z-Pipe by Formula Z Performance is an innovative, patent-pending dual exhaust crossover that does the job of a traditional X-pipe or H-pipe in a fraction of the space. Engineered with precision, the Z-Pipe maintains a consistent, unrestricted exhaust pathway without reducing cross-sectional area, promoting smooth, high-velocity gas flow and increasing exhaust scavenging. This advanced design improves throttle response throughout the entire RPM range and boosts volumetric efficiency.
This 2.750" ID version matches dual exhaust systems running 2.750" tubing — the in-between size many OE performance systems use, where off-the-shelf X-pipes are hardest to find.
Each Z-Pipe is precisely crafted from high-quality 316L stainless steel using advanced Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) and Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technologies, ensuring unmatched accuracy and durability — internal geometry that cannot be fabricated from mandrel-bent tube. Installation is straightforward as the Z-Pipe sits completely downstream of all emissions components, and its compact size makes it perfect even for the tightest installations. Experience a refined, clean, and exotic exhaust tone that is distinctly crisp and balanced across both exhaust banks.

APPLICATIONS
The Classic model is Formula Z's most popular style, covering 80–85% of modified vehicles: front-engine cars with rear-exit dual exhaust. It installs downstream of all emissions components in place of a traditional X-pipe or H-pipe — match the Z-Pipe ID to your exhaust tubing size. If you are retrofitting an existing exhaust system, the Straight Classic is the right choice, with flexible placement along the system; for a ground-up build with tight packaging, consider the 45° Inlet Classic instead.
Other layouts: Opposing Style for rear-engine platforms like the Porsche 911, SuperCar Style for mid-engine builds, Center Exit Style for center-exit systems, and the Ultra-Narrow Straight Classic for the tightest tunnel clearances.
